Pregnancy: What to expect when you have morning sickness

posted on: Thursday, March 28, 2013

We are so grateful for all the support and love that has been poured out on
us with the announcement of our little one!
We are so insanely excited to meet the babe, but to be honest it has not been the easiest
pregnancy and I have tried absolutely everything to fight the nauseous and throwing up and
there are some days you would do absolutely anything to stop it.
This is what I have found to help all of the symptoms and I really hope it helps!

{essentials to stop the nausea:}

1. In the morning start your day eating crackers in bed, I eat about six even before I get up.

2. Take {4} 25mcg of B6 throughout the day along with a half of a unisom.

3. Eat, every two hours-even when you aren't hungry and have been barfing. Eat simple foods
toast, bananas, apples, crackers, rice & other simple foods.

3. After you throw up- brush your teeth and drink peppermint tea/ peppermint water
{this is huge, it has helped curb the nauseous the MOST}

4. Ginger ale is a great drink when you are feeling ill, the carbonation and ginger is great.

5. Drink 8 cups of 8oz of water throughout the day-
when you are throwing up, drink even more because it makes you crazy dehydrated.

All these items have helped me tremendously and I hope it helps you too!
What do you do to curb the nausea?

I've got the Magic in me

posted on: Wednesday, March 27, 2013

My whole life I have always wondered what my life would end up like.
I wondered what my cute husband would look like, what his personality would be
and I would pray that we would be best friends and have a happy life.
None of my prayers or dreams have come close to the love that I have
shared with my sweetheart Aaron.
We have suffered through death and sickness, spent years apart with
only letters to keep contact, and I have experienced the most deep friendship with him
more than any other person. My dreams have been surpassed and we have found a happy
life together.

We have been waiting for a baby for some time and about two months ago,
we found out that we were expecting one. Words can not explain how happy we
are to have a little one join our family. I don't know how we are going to wait another 7 months
for the baby to come, but we will have to stick it out! We had this ultrasound taken monday,
and we are beyond excited to watch this little one grow and meet him/her in November.

Happy happy happy.

A little homage to our permanent home the last 8 years.
We have loved our friends and family we have made here,
and hope to find friends like these wherever we go.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our lives here,
because of you we truly have been 'changed for good.'

Places: Happiest Utah Weekend

posted on: Monday, March 18, 2013

We went down to Utah last weekend to see John in his show, and WOW
he was absolutely hilarious and incredible. The entire audience was filled with family,
 friends from our home ward and some provo people. We all loved it and were eating out of the palm
of John's talented hands. He also made the poster for the show & it was fantastic!
On saturday Ar & I went to lunch with our fave Kaitlyn and had a fantastic time catching up
and loving each other again. {We also did a little shopping for Aaron}
We did a session with the family which was absolutely lovely, and finished that out with
a great dinner at Wild Ginger with our fave family. I was Exhausted- so we went and took a nap
{at seven at night} and went ans partied with my Rexburg girls! It was BLISS to see them
and we caught up for a long time about life and the future. I miss my sissys!
We hit the awful waffle with John, he was starving- so we had some awesome crepes and waffles.
It was an amazing saturday and we had an epic time with all our people.
Sunday we had got to see our family- the welches and the Larsons and have an incredible Snt. Pattys
dinner {don't worry we ate clean and everything}
and chatted with our besties across the country. We love/miss them.
Last but not least we got to see our Saylins and it was the BEST. We laughed and went a little
cray cray, but it was bliss as always to see our family.

Too a GREAT weekend!
